Running the Transact Archiving Service
This section describes how to use the Temenos Transact Archiving Service to archive data from the IF.EVENTS.INTERFACE.TABLE application based on the timestamp field. This criterion is expanded further by changing the archiving routine.

Overview of the Transact Archiving Service
On a normal working day, there could be many entries updated in IF.EVENTS.INTERFACE.TABLE. Over a period of time, this might occupy a large space in the database and could hinder performance. To avoid such problems, you need to archive data in these files.
Setting up Transact Prerequisite Applications
You need to set up two Transact applications before you run the Archiving Service.
The archival process is initiated as a service in Transact. All the services are defined in the TSA.SERVICE application.
The INTEGRATION.SERVICE.PARAM table has the POST.DELVIERY.ACT field that determines how the Integration Framework intraday archival service is processed on successful event delivery.
