Imbricated Inflow

In order to use sub-flows, it is necessary to have imbricated (overlapping) inflows. The system supports up to three levels of sub-flows.

Implementing an imbricated inflow in Inflow Designer

You can implement an imbricated inflow in Inflow Designer.

Follow the steps below to implement an imbricated inflow designer.

  1. Create an Inflow Designer project for inflow with PW.

    Select any PWD and view the corresponding activity list.

    In this example INFLOWTRY is used. The Activity field is now populated with all current activities.

    Activities are displayed in the format:

    ActivityName_UniqueName$ActivityName2.DEF_UniqueName$ActivityName3.DEF_UniqueName

  2. Select the required fields for each activity.

  3. Save and publish the design.
  4. Open and view the schemas folder to view the schema. Note that each activity name is appended with a unique name, as illustrated below.
