Bundle Hierarchy
The Bundle Hierarchy Property Class allows to define the hierarchy structure of the Balance Netting Pool by specifying the products that can be part of the structure and the respective parent-child relationship.
Product Lines
The following Product Line uses the Bundle Hierarchy Property Class:
- Bundle
Property Class Type
The Bundle Hierarchy Property Class uses the following Property Class Type:
- Dated
Property Type
The Bundle Hierarchy Property Class is not associated with any Property Type.
Balance Prefix and Suffix
The Bundle Hierarchy Property Class is not associated with balance prefix and suffix.

Attaching Bundle Hierarchy Property Class to a Bundle product enables it for Balance Netting Hierarchy.
Other Bundle products like Interest Compensation or Offset Mortgage work as they are, without the need for a Bundle Hierarchy property attached to them.
A sample Bundle Hierarchy Product Condition for a standard Balance Netting Pool structure is shown below.
- All the attributes that are setup in Bundle Hierarchy should be set as ‘Non-negotiable’ so the user cannot change the constitution of the Hierarchy at the Bundle arrangement level.
- As the user is not allowed to add an account of any Product type to the Bundle Hierarchy, it is recommended to set it with the relevant Products.
Attribute level explanation of the Product Condition is given below.

- Allows the user to define the Product Group that is allowed to be part of Bundle.
- Either Product Group, Product or both must be specified.
- When both Product Group and Product are specified, the product must belong to that particular Product Group.
- This is a multi-value attribute that accepts a valid record from AA.PRODUCT.GROUP

- Allows the user to define the product which is allowed to be used in the Bundle.
- Either Product Group, Product or both must be specified.
- When both Product Group and Product are specified, the product must belong to that particular Product Group.
- This is a multi-value attribute that accepts a valid record from AA.PRODUCT

- Allows the user to define the product, which is allowed as a parent for the specified Product or Product Group.
- Each parent product must be an allowed Product in the Bundle either directly via the product or indirectly via its Product Group.
- When both Product Group and Product are specified, the product must belong to that particular Product Group.
- When parent is not specified, then the corresponding Product Group or Product cannot have any parent while creating Accounts arrangement
- This is an optional sub-value attribute that accepts a valid record from AA.PRODUCT. Duplicates are not allowed in the list.

This field specifies "n" number of days before Go Live for it to run the pool integrity validations and record the results in pool exception log.
Periodic Attribute Classes
The Bundle Hierarchy Property Class is not associated with any periodic attribute class.
Actions
Individual AA.PROPERTY.CLASS.ACTION records control which Product Line it’s associated with. The Bundle Hierarchy Property Class performs the following actions:

DATA.CAPTURE | Data Capture for Bundle Hierarchy. |
HANDOFF | The balances of the DONOR arrangements will be taken for the interest calculation along with the balance of the RECIPIENT arrangement, with or without interest calculation of the DONOR Arrangements at their level. |
UPDATE | This action is initiated manually and allows the user to change any of the Bundle definition conditions. |
Accounting Events
The Bundle Hierarchy Property Class does not perform any actions that generate accounting events.
Limits Interaction
The Bundle Hierarchy Property Class does not perform any actions that impact on the limits system.
