Introduction to Payment Interface to JD Gateway

The Brazilian Banking Association (ABBC) has the representation of financial institutions at the Checks and Documents Clearing house (COMPE), managed by Banco do Brasil SA. This service encompasses the full processing of clearing of checks, payments billis and DOCs (transfers between bank accounts), including the calculation of the guarantee pre-deposit at COMPE and the financial information base to relevant legal reports.

The form of communication with ABBC will be by exchange of files, all integration files generated by ABBC are in text format.

The Available Electronic Transfer (TED) is a modality of electronic transfer of values online or real time between banks processed by the Brazilian payment system (Sistema de Pagamentos Brasileiro - SPB). This type of transfer can be performed by both private and corporate accounts.

In practice, a debit is made to the account of the holder requesting the transfer and the credit is made to the beneficiary's account on the same business day. There is no maximum value or minimum value to be sent by TED. If the transfer is requested on business days, during business hours until 17:30 but some banks impose a time limit prior to this to avoid the accumulation of large traffic volumes at the end of the banking day, it will be executed on the same day in up to 60 minutes.

The channels for requesting a TED can be: cell phone, ATM terminal, telephone, internet or directly at the agency tellers.
