Lending Journey
This section explains the permissions (entitlements) based visibility to features and services for out-of-the-box lending journey roles in the application.
Bank users (bank employees) have permissions (entitlements) based access to the features and associated actions based on their roles in the application. At the time of user creation, when a user is assigned a role (for example, Relationship Manager, Supervisor, Underwriter etc.) for a specific lending jurney, the user inherits all the permissions defined at the role level. The display of features and actions throughout the Temenos Digital Assist application are governed by these permissions.
The table lists the lending journeys (Retail, SME) and the corresponding user roles applicable to the respective lending journey:
User Roles | Lending Journeys and Applicable Roles | |
---|---|---|
Retail Lending | SME Lending | |
Relationship Manager (RM) | Retail RM | SME RM |
Underwriter (UW) | Retail UW | SME UW |
Operations (Ops) | Retail Ops | SME Ops |
Supervisor | Retail Supervisor | SME Supervisor |
Secretary | Not applicable | Not applicable |
The roles are created in the Spotlight application at the financial institution (FI) level and are assigned to bank user. The permissions are assigned or mapped to the user roles. The role controls the features and actions that the bank user can see and perform.
For a quick reference, the permissions mapped to each user role are grouped module-wise for the respective lending journeys:
Retail Lending Journey Permission
- Permissions grouped by request module for retail lending roles
- Permissions grouped by facility module for retail lending roles
- Permissions grouped by entity module for retail lending roles
