Overview
This section details about TAFJ Enterprise Edition (EE) application, MDBs and EJBs that are used in Temenos Transact environment.
In Temenos Transact, TAFJ EE application is used to process online transaction in an application server. This application is packaged within TAFJJEE_EAR.ear file which contains:
- TAFJJEE_MDB.jar—Contains Message Driven Beans (MDB) to handle JMS incoming messages and send responses.
- TAFJJEE_EJB.jar— Contains Enterprise Java Beans (EDB) to process Temenos Transact requests.
MDBs and EJBs are configured by default through deployment descriptor packaged in above mentioned .jar files.
You can use the Java EE transaction manager to control all enterprise bean transactions (except for bean-managed JDBC transactions).
Temenos Transact-Java supported application servers in R16 are Java EE6 compliant. The TAFJJEE_EAR.ear file is shipped with a default configuration and can be customised to suit your need.
There is no pre-defined configuration for Temenos Transact online channel and the use case determines the required configurations.
