Weblogic 12.1.1 Patch

This section shows you the patch that you need to apply during WebLogic installation to deploy TAFJJEE_EAR on WebLogic 12.1.1.

Below is the patch.

TAFJ_HOME/appserver/ weblogic/12c-patch/ p15926456_12110_Generic.zip

You need to copy the content of this zip file with the exception of README file to your Smart Update cache directory (MW_HOME/utils/bsu/cache_dir) and apply the patch by using the Smart Update utility as described below.

How to Start Smart Update

To start Smart Update on this platform Perform the following steps

Windows

You can follow either of the following steps:

  • From the Start Menu, select Start > Programs > Oracle WebLogic > Smart Update.
  • From the MS-DOS command prompt window, go to the MW_HOME \utils\bsu directory and enter the bsu.cmd command. This opens the Smart Update login window.

UNIX

If you want to run Smart Update on a UNIX system, then the console attached to the system on which you are upgrading the software must support a Java-based GUI.
  1. Log in to the UNIX system.
  2. Go to the MW_HOME/utils/bsu directory, where BEA_HOME is the host directory for the product installation that you want to update.
  3. At the prompt, enter the bsu.sh command. This opens the Smart Update login window.

In the Smart Update window, you can view the DQP7 DEPENDENCY INJECTION FAILURE IN MESSAGE DRIVEN BEAN patch in the Downloaded Patches section. You need to apply this patch by clicking on the green arrow Apply. After a few seconds, you will see your patch applied. You are now ready to deploy TAFJ.
