State Change Events
A service request is bound to undergo many changes in its status during its life cycle, that is, from the date it is created to the time the request is either fulfilled or rejected. SRMS 2.0 is capable of capturing and persisting the details of the changes that the request undergoes for audit purposes.
SRMS 2.0 generates (emits) a state change event for every status change that each service request undergoes during its journey. A few possible life cycle status changes that a request can undergo are drafted, submitted, approved, rejected, deleted, fulfilled, and failed.
