Overview
Service Request Microservice (SRMS 2.0) provides a platform for the bank to define new service requests required for their banking needs. Examples of service requests include chequebook requests, account statement requests, standing order requests, and so on.
SRMS 2.0 offers the ability to the bank to define any number of new request types along with its associated mapping and other configurations, which may be necessary to service and fulfil the request.
Being built on VT, it uses document-based NoSQL databases to capture the details of different types of service requests.
Once the definition of the service request (and its associated configurations) is captured, it becomes available to fulfil any request.
The SRMS 2.0 remains agnostic to the fulfilment system and hence can support and serve requests intended for any backend (fulfilment) system, for example, Transact, any Temenos microservice, or any other third-party system.
