Introduction to Reconciliation for Limit Service Mode

Reconciliation process is part of the Limited Service Mode (LSM) capability for Transact whilst the system is unavailable due to planned maintenance operations. LSM provides the capability to provide funds authorisation and approval services and query operations for customer arrangements in this mode.

The Limited Service Mode solution has two main microservices:

• Funds Authorisation Microservice (FAMS) providing funds approval and available balances
• Arrangement Microservice (AMS) providing arrangement level information for queries

The Reconciliation feature provides the ability to reconcile the content of the Microservices used to provide LSM with the data mastered by Transact for all arrangements. FAMS and AMS data is customer-facing data; it is important that the bank are able to verify and identify differences between the two systems.
