Overview

This section gives a brief description of OFSML features and the components that support it.

Temenos Transact business services accessible via OFSML include core transactions and core table-based enquiries. To enable access to business services via OFSML, a Temenos Transact installation is localised for specific installation needs. Typically, these customisations (localisations) are also supported via OFSML. It is also possible to extend OFSML with a custom schema; however, this is not required.

OFSML is exclusively supported through the TOCF components (Temenos Transact Connector or Temenos Transact Application Gateway). In OFSML 1.5, it is possible to perform full validation against the OFSML schema (XSD) of both inbound (request) and outbound (response or send) messages.
