Safe Deposit Box
The Safe Deposit Box (SDB) Property Class is used to capture the details of the box rented out to the customer. Box Type and Box Number are its attributes.

There is no property type for Safe Deposit Box property class.
Balance Prefix and Suffix
The Safe Deposit Box Property Class does not hold any balances as it is non-financial in nature. This implies that there is no associated balance prefix.

Box Type
Box Type is a mandatory field and the user can define the box types. For example, small, medium, or large. It indicates the box type as rented or contracted to the customer. The values from the virtual table namely EB.LOOKUP for AA.SDB.BOX.TYPE record are allowed’.Box Number
Box Number
Box Number is a mandatory field and indicates the number of the box that is being rented or contracted. It should be a valid record from the AA.SDB.BOX table. The general format of the box number is <Company code - Number> (for example, US0010001-1, US0010001-2, etc.). The user can enter the box number in the second part of the key as 1, 2, 3, etc. The box should be in Available status to rent to the customer.
Activities in Locker
- The customer visit information can be recorded using the SAFE.DEPOSIT.BOX-CUSTOMER.VISIT-SAFE.DEPOSIT.BOX Activity Class.
- The details of the customer who accessed the locker with time information is stored in the Activity information.
- Events such as Key Lost, Break Open, and Court Order are recorded using the SAFE.DEPOSIT.BOX-RECORD.STATUS-SAFE.DEPOSIT.BOX*<STATUS> Activity Class.
Inventory Management Configuration
AA.SDB.BOX and AA.SDB.BOX.ENTRY define and control the Box Type and Box Number that are allocated for each branch.
AA.SDB.BOX captures the inventory details of the safe deposit box such as status of the box, rental details, etc. The system automatically creates records based on the configuration done in the AA.SDB.BOX.ENTRY table. The user cannot input any values.
AA.SDB.BOX.ENTRY defines and maintains different box types for SDB. It captures the number of boxes to be made available in a branch or bank for each box type. The system creates a record for each company to make these boxes available for rent. A branch can be specified by generating a new ID that contains both the company and branch reference. The reverse function is not available.
Periodic Attribute Classes
There are no periodic attribute classes associated with Safe Deposit Box Property Class.
