Property Control
The Property Control Property Class is used to suppress, replace or merge the default Product Condition at the arrangement level for the following Property Classes:
- Charge
- Interest
- Periodic Charges
- Pricing Rules
Product Lines
The following Product Lines use the Property Control Property Class:
- Bundle
- Regional.Variations
Property Class Type
The Property Control Property Class uses the following Property Class Types. These are released and maintained by Temenos.
- Dated
- Merging
- Tracking
- Variations supported
Property Type
The Property Control Property Class is not associated with any Properties.
Balance Prefix and Suffix
The Property Control Property Class is not associated with balance prefix and suffix.

This Product Condition facilitates to supersede the Product Conditions of a particular Product Group based on the configuration.
The attributes of the Product Condition are described below.

Specifies the defined Product Grouped.
An optional attribute but has to be one of the Product Groups specified as constituents in the Bundle Property Class.
In other Product Lines, any valid Product Group is accepted.

Similar to the Product Group, this Product is also specified as constituents in the Bundle Property Class (only for Bundle Product Lines).
When this attribute is left blank then the Property Class or Property and the conditions specified in subsequent attributes are considered as applicable for all constituent Product Groups or Products of the Bundle that have the same Property Class or Property.

Specifies the Property Class of the Constituent Arrangements that is affected with the condition specified here.
- Allowed values are Periodic Charges, Charge, Interest, and Pricing Rules.
- The Property Class should be a valid record in AA.PROPERTY.CLASS.

Specifies the Property of the Constituent Arrangement that is affected with the condition specified here.
- Allowed values are the Properties of the Periodic Charges, Charge, Interest, and Pricing Rules Property Classes.
- The Property should be a valid record in AA.PROPERTY.

Specifies the Product Condition that is used for replacing or merging with the Arrangement Condition.
It lists only the conditions pertaining to the Property specified in the associated Property Attribute.

Specifies the nature of Property Control for the associated Property or Property Class in master arrangement. The allowed values are as follows:
- Suppress: The system suppresses the associated Property or Property Class in the Master Arrangement.
- Replace: The associated Property or Property Class condition in the master arrangement is updated with the condition defined in the property condition attribute while retaining the existing arrangement's pricing rules in place.
- Merge: The system merges the associated Property or Property Class condition with the condition available in the Property Condition attribute. This option is supported only for Pricing Rule and Periodic Charges and restricted for Charges.
- Blank: No action to be taken.

Specifies the nature of Property Control for the associated Property or Property Class in Secondary Arrangement. The attributes/values are as follows:
- Suppress: The system suppresses the associated Property or Property Class in the Secondary Arrangements.
- Replace: The associated Property or Property Class condition in a secondary arrangement is updated with the condition defined in the property condition attribute while retaining the existing arrangement's pricing rules in place.
- Merge: The system merges the associated Property or Property Class condition with the condition defined at the Bundle for the same Property in all secondary arrangements. This option is supported only for Pricing Rule and Periodic Charges. This option is restricted for Charges.
- Blank : No action to be taken.
When the Suppress option is selected for,
- Charges then the system skips the charge bill creation.
- Interest then the system skips accruals.
Pricing and Property Control
For Regional Pricing Product Line,
- The Primary attribute is used to replace, suppress, or merge the conditions.Merge option is supported only for Pricing Rule and Periodic Charges Property Classes.
For Package Pricing Product Line,
- The Primary attribute is used for Anchor Arrangement options to suppress, replace and merge.
- The Secondary attribute used for the other arrangements in the Package – if the Properties condition have to be suppressed, replaced and merged.
- For instance, if the management fee for a new arrangement is $3, the user can define the management fee as $10 for a particular Product (say Current Account) created from a particular region (say South Texas). The below screenshot displays the configuration.Merge option is supported available only for Pricing Rule and Periodic Charges Property Classes.
Bundle Processing
Bundle processing supports the following:
- During the creation of a new Bundle Arrangement with Property Control Product Condition, the system takes control option for the,
- Recipient from control Primary Attribute
- Donor from control Secondary Attribute
- After committing the new Bundle Arrangement, the system updates the AA.PROCESS.ACTIVITIES.LIST with APPLY.PC.CHANGE Activity on top of recipient and donor activities.
Actions
The Property Control supports the following actions:

Accounting Events
The Property Control Property Class does not perform any actions that generate accounting events.
