Delivery

This section describes the delivery process when an alert is triggered.

Event management links to DELIVERY through the specification of an EB.ACTIVITY record in the EB.EVENT.TYPE setting. When this event type is triggered, the delivery setting is consulted to determine how the alert should be set.

Delivery module can be set as a Subscriber to an Event in TEC.ITEMS by setting the SUBSCRIBER field as DELIVERY.ALERT.

When an event is published, the DELIVERY.ALERT as a Subscriber converts the event data as standard DE.HANDOFF data and hands it off to the Delivery module, which then takes care of formatting and deliver the notification.
