Introduction to US Customer Holds & Notes & Messages

The US Customer Holds, Notes, and Messages documentation includes two user guides:

  • Covenant Management – covers system functions that support different types of loan covenants, including, for example, financial covenants (loan agreement provisions that lenders’ financial management standards) and information covenants (loan agreement provisions that require borrowers to provide certain information regularly).
  • Customer Messages and Notes – covers system functions that support customer messages and notes (on-line messages that alert users about certain customer information before authorizing financial or non-financial activities), and customer-based holds (allows users to hold a certain amount for a specified number of days for specific transaction types). The user guide also contains extensive guidance on Canada-specific system features.
