Introduction to Cheques Administration
The Cheque Administration module covers the following functionalities in the Mexican Model Bank:
- Issuing and registration of various types of cheques issued to customers.
- Banks can record requests for chequebooks ordered by customers and when these cheques are received from the providers, issue them to the appropriate customer.
- When a chequebook is issued to the customer, the range of the cheque numbers will be recorded into a cheque register.
- Banks can record the address in which the cheque book needs to be delivered viz., branch or customer address.
- Bank can record the number of cheque books that can be ordered for each type of cheque.
- Bank can view the cheques to be destroyed for the day.
- Bank can record the information of the cheque books that are requested from the suppliers (bank) to production (providers).
- Bank can generate the flat file for the supplier with below mentioned information:
- Customer number
- Account number
- Currency of the account
- Number of cheques to be printed
- Initial cheque number
- Final cheque number etc.
