Introduction to Lending

The Lending module supports the functionality that involves the loan products for the customer based on PBOC guidelines. This functionality provides various loan facilities, allowing banks to maintain the loan and classify them based on the risk levels as per PBOC guidelines.

Using this module, banks are able to ensure the maintenance of the loan purpose codes, beneficiary industry and sub-industry codes, and loan product codes and sub-product codes for facilities and lending contracts.

The following items have been introduced as part of this module:

  • The CNLEND.PRODUCT.CODE application has been introduced as part of this module to allow users to maintain the list of sub products available for the facility.
  • The CNLEND.INDUSTRY.CODE application has been introduced as part of this module to allow users to define industry codes.
  • The CNLEND.PURPOSE.CODE application has been introduced as part of this module to store the details for maintenance of the bank defined purpose codes, green loan purpose codes and estate related loan purpose codes.
  • The CNLEND.GREEN.PURPOSE.CODE enquiry has been introduced as part of this module to list the green loan purpose codes records.
  • The CNLEND.ESTATE.PURPOSE.CODE enquiry has been introduced as part of this module to list the estate loan purpose codes records.
  • The CNLEND.BANK.PURPOSE.CODE enquiry has been introduced as part of this module to list the bank defined purpose codes records.
  • The CNLEND.CORP.FACILITY.PARENT and CNLEND.TERM.FACILITY products have been released as part of this module to define the Facility arrangements.
  • The XCNLEND.ADDITIONAL.INFO external property class have been released as part of this module to capture the additional information under agreements.

This module allows banks to link multiple agreements to a single limit, define agreement information like loan products allowed, purpose, benefits, industry, currency, begin date, end date, and regulatory related details. Using this module, banks are able to capture the additional information required under agreements, like tenor type, investment information, facility purpose, etc. through the new property records released.
