Introduction to TCIB Online Banking

The purpose of this user guide is to explain the functionality of the new web service related to registered product information and transaction for both RRSP and TFSA products.

The intended audience for this document are the bank staff, IT administrators for parameters, and business analysts. It is assumed that the reader of this document is familiar with the navigation around Temenos Transact and is familiar with the Temenos Transact customer and accounts.

Financial Institutions in Canada offer to their customers various types of government registered products. The registered product has both accounts and deposits, which can be opened through branch and also via Online Banking. This user guide explains about the opening of registered products via web services (Online Banking).

TCIB is a web service where the customer has a flexibility to open accounts, deposits and other services via Online Banking.

This module provided the following benefits:

  • Ability to open a registered account or deposit via Online Banking.
  • Ability to contribute to the account or deposit products.
  • Ability to view the tax slip details and contribution receipt via Online Banking.
  • Flexibility to close the plan on maturity via Online Banking.
The CAMB functionalities are designed to work with CAMB versions. In case the FI needs the CAMB functionalities to work on versions (not designed or supported) by CAMB, an enhancement will be required.
