Introduction to Payroll Accounts

In Argentina, there is a practice of converting savings accounts to payroll accounts if there is regular payroll credit and to convert payroll accounts to savings account if there is no regular payroll credit in the account.

The new functionality is used to address the following:

• The savings account isswitched to a payroll account, if there is at least one payroll credit transaction in the pre-defined period, before the scheduled daily credit transaction check.
• The payroll account is switched to a savings account, if there is no recurring credit in the account, before the scheduled six monthly credit transaction check.

The bank doesn't need to manually monitor the payroll credit transactions of customer in order to switch from a savings to a payroll account and from a payroll to a savings account. This functionality helps in switching the products automatically without any manual intervention.
