Authorising records

This section shows how you can authorise released records in the Temenos Transact upgrade process.

In the Temenos Transact upgrade process, there are few records that are released directly into the live file (for example, F.PGM.FILE and F.FILE.CONTROL). However, most of the records are released to the unauthorised file and you need to ensure that these files are authorised.

Procedure

1. Login to Temenos Transact.
2. Authorise the STANDARD.SELECTION records.
3. Run the EXCEPTION or EXCEPTION.PRINT enquiry to view the unauthorised records.
4. In the EXCEPTION enquiry, make the following changes so that you can run this enquiry in TAFJ without using IDESC (Indirect Description).
   1. Launch DBtools under the TAFJ_HOME/bin directory and run the tJed F.ENQUIRY EXCEPTION command.
   2. In the third field, replace the value with USERNO EQ !TNO
   3. Remove SORT.FLD from the fourth field

      

5. Re-validate the REPGEN files.
6. Authorise the records in the following applications because of their later dependencies:
   • ENQUIRY (any % records)
   • EB.PRODUCT
   • EB.SYSTEM.ID
   • SYSTEM.RECORD
   • DE.MESSAGE
   • TRANSACTION
   • STMT.NARR.FORMAT
7. Authorise the VERSION records.
