Pre-requisites
Following are the pre-requisites to using this guide:
- JRE 11 Dependency - Java JRE 11x is required to run IRIS applications.
- Web Container - T24 Deployment requires JBoss 7.x application that runs on JRE 11x.
- T24 Configuration -
OFS.SOURCEmust be configured.
To process OFS requests posted from IRIS, configure OFS.SOURCE as it contains the parameters for setting up an OFS connection with Temenos Transact. By default, PSD2 wars use t24OFSQueue and t24OFSReplyQueue to relate to OFS.SOURCE GCS and communicate to Transact.
Below are the configurations to be done in the OFS.SOURCE record.
- Set the Same Authoriser field to facilitate the same user for inputting and authorising a transaction.
- Set the Field Val field as Yes to enable field-level validations on the related table.
- Set the Attributes field to SHOW.NOFILE.ERROR to capture and return errors encountered while processing nofile enquiries from Temenos Transact.
- Set the Attributes field to OFS.OVERRIDE to capture and return overrides or warnings from Temenos Transact.
If the bank wishes to set up an explicit OFS.SOURCE for PSD2, and makes use of the respective queues to communicate to Temenos Transact.
By default, PSD2 war files use the JMS queues, t24OFSQueue and t24OFSReplyQueue, to relate the GCS ofs source record to communicate with T24.
If the client wishes to set up an explicit ofs source and configure respective queues in PSD2 wars, the GCS ofs source record can be replicated, and the following configurations should be done.
- Set the Same Authoriser field as YES to facilitate the same user for inputting and authorising a transaction.
- Set the Field Val field as Yes for field validation on the OFS message posted.
- Set the Attributes field to SHOW.NOFILE.ERROR to allow the API to capture and return errors encountered while processing the enquiries.
- Set the Attributes field to OFS.OVERRIDE to enable the OFS response through ofs source to capture and return overrides or warnings from Temenos Transact.
