There are many deployment configurations possible for Temenos Digital solution. Depending on your specific requirements, choose the best set up that suits your purpose. Refer to the Deployment guide to understand the various possibilities, and configurations.

In any deployment scenario, the following network access prerequisites must be considered: 

• Deploy Quantum Fabric Services. The environment on which various Quantum Fabric services are deployed must be accessible from the digital applications.

Not all Quantum Fabric services are invoked from the digital applications. Some services are for internal use only.

• Access to back-end services. Most business functionality is made available through core back-end services provided by the bank or any other third-party. These services are specified in the operation definitions of Quantum Fabric Integration services. So, these core back-end services should be set up in a way to be accessible from Quantum Fabric environment.
• Access to the local database. There is a lot of functionality in the Temenos Digital suite in which the Integration services are set up to communicate with a local database (Temenos DB). This allows you to utilize core business functionality, such as Spotlight, Retail Banking out-of-the-box, or use them as a sandbox environment until the required core back-end services you plan to use are built. Temenos DB is also used as a local store for aggregated functions.  Therefore, Temenos DB must be installed in an environment providing quick and easy access from Quantum Fabric environment.
• Access between Quantum Fabric Apps. There are many scenarios in which Object services exposed by one Quantum Fabric app are accessed by another app and vice versa. Make sure that Quantum Fabric apps are either installed in the same environment or the network is set up in such way that the required services are accessible from either environment.
