Overview

Cards Generic Integration helps you to integrate Temenos products with the complimentary banking solutions offered by Card Management and Processing Systems (CMPS) providers which are not on-boarded as Exchange Partners. The Cards Generic Integration component provides Temenos solutions the potential to support CMPS from respective CMPS providers.

The Cards Generic Integration comprises of the following components:

• Cards Fulfilment Service

  It is a Temenos Microservice which fulfils all requirements on cards in the external Card Management and Processing System (CMPS) for Temenos solutions. It can be configured based on the events consumed and it also defines the events to be produced. This service is independent of the components in the server or client side.

• Cards Fulfilment Adapters

  Cards Fulfilment Adapter is an adapter implemented for connecting to external systems to fulfil the requests. Cards Generic Fulfilment Adapter is generic to any external system they connect to.

• Service Request MS

  It is a distribution service through which customer service requests are handled, including service requests related to cards. Each service request is configured with the data points received as inputs from the user agent services (for example, Infinity Digital Banking application) accepts the data points and configures each service request with them. These are then processed by fulfilment services through defined events.

Transact modules that are specific to handling card management are utilized by this solution. The CARD.TYPE and CARD.ISSUE applications are used to represent reporting services for card products and cards respectively. The fulfilment results update these applications for further reporting to user agents through APIs.
